How to maintain the Water chiller of laser machine?

 

 

Water chiller of 60KW fiber laser cutting machine is a cooling water device that can provide constant temperature, constant flow and constant pressure.Water chiller is mainly used in various laser processing equipment. It can accurately control the temperature required by laser equipment, thereby ensuring the normal operation of laser equipment.

 

Daily maintenance method of laser chiller:

1) Place the chiller in a ventilated and cool place. It is recommended to be below 40 degrees. When using laser chiller, the machine  should be kept clean and well ventilated. The condenser should be cleaned regularly to ensure the normal operation of the unit.

2) Water should be replaced regularly, and the water tank should be cleaned regularly. Generally, the water should be changed every 3 months.

3) The water quality and water temperature of circulating water will affect the service life of the laser tube. It is recommended to use pure water and control the water temperature below 35 degrees Celsius. If it exceeds 35 degrees, ice cubes can be added to cool it down.

4) When the unit stops due to a fault alarm, press the alarm stop button first, and then check the cause of the fault. Remember not to force the machine to start running before troubleshooting.

5) Clean the dust on the chiller condenser and dust screen regularly. Clean the dust on the dust screen regularly: when there is a lot of dust, remove the dust screen and use an air spray gun, water pipe, etc. to remove the dust on the dust screen. Please use a neutral detergent to clean the oily dirt. Let the dust screen dry before reinstalling it.

6) Filter cleaning: Rinse or replace the filter element in the filter regularly to ensure that the filter element is clean and not blocked.

7) Condenser, vents, and filter maintenance: To optimize the cooling capacity of the system, the condenser, vents, and filter should be kept clean and dust-free. The filter can be easily removed from both sides. Use a mild detergent and water to wash away the accumulated dust. Rinse and dry before reinstalling.

8) Do not shut down the unit by cutting off the power supply at will unless there is an emergency during use;

9) In addition to daily maintenance, winter maintenance also requires prevention of freezing. In order to ensure the normal use of the laser chiller, the ambient temperature should not be lower than 5 degrees Celsius.

 

Methods to avoid freezing of the chiller:

① In order to prevent freezing, the chiller can be kept above 0 degrees Celsius. If the conditions cannot be met, the chiller can be kept on to keep the water in the pipe flowing to prevent freezing.

② During holidays, the water chiller is in a shutdown state, or it is shut down for a long time due to a fault. Try to drain the water in the chiller tank and pipes. If the unit is stopped for a long time in winter, turn off the unit first, then turn off the main power supply, and drain the water in the laser chiller.

③ Finally, antifreeze can be added appropriately according to the actual situation of the chiller.

 

The laser chiller is a cooling device that mainly performs water circulation cooling on the generator of the laser equipment, and controls the operating temperature of the laser generator so that the laser generator can maintain normal operation for a long time. It is an individual application of industrial chillers to the laser industry.
